A false prophet?

Anthony Tarquin rose in defense of PSB President/CEO Edmund Archuleta at the El Paso City Council meeting on December 9, 2008. He said "I guess there something about how you can't be a prophet in your own land," he said. "You don't recognize what you have in Ed Archuleta."

Was Mr. Tarquin motivated by his social conscience or by his pocket book?
Mr. Tarquin described himself as a professor at "UTEP's Department of Civil Engineering" but he failed to mention that he is also lead consultant to the PSB on a $295,000 contract awarded in October 2007.
